Mud Volleyball Rules and Regulations
Each team must have a max of 8 players and a min of 6 players, with 3 men and 3 women on the court at all times.
REGISTRATION must be submitted by June 28/03. First 16 teams registered will be accepted.

Everyone participating must wear flat soled foot wear
No spiked foot wear allowed on court
Do not drive over the fire hoses
Please use garbage containers for any trash (and recycle bins)
Each team is guaranteed two games lasting 30 minutes each (1 game= 3matches)
Each match goes to 15 points
In order to win a match you must win by 2 points or in the event of elapsed time, the team with the highest total points from all matches wins.
Sound of horn signifies the start of each game and the sound of the siren signifies the end.
Shortage of players or substitutions must be brought to the organizers attention on game day prior to starting games.
Ball must be served from outer back right hand corner of the court
Ball should not be intentionally loaded with mud prior to serving
The playable boundary will be clearly marked.
It is a foul for players to touch the net
Players of the serving team must rotate clockwise when receiving the ball to serve.
Substituting must be done from the serving position except in cases of injury
A point may be scored only by the side serving (no rally point)
Holding and throwing the ball while in play is a foul, the play must be distinct batting of the ball
Maximum of 4 hits to side
Player may not hit the ball twice in succession
A block is not considered a hit
A ball may be hit with any part of the body
It is a violation to spike with two hands
Only the front line can spike the ball
Any inappropriate or abusive behavior will not be tolerated
A player may not play on more than one team
Please do not bring: grills (food vendor will be available), alcohol (refreshment vendor will be available), glass containers (absolutely prohibited), pets (must be on leash and attended too), jewelry (not responsible for lost or stolen items).
All games to be refereed on honor system by teams playing
Results of game to be documented by Captain of winning team
