“What is your site about?”
“I want to be a syndicated writer. Or more specifically, a paid writer. If you like my stuff, let your nearest editor know about me."
“What are your stories about?"
“Imagine being a fly on the wall and being party to some of the juiciest conversations you could imagine.”
“Is that why you call it Eavesdroppings?”
“Yes.”
“Do you really eavesdrop on the people you write about?”
“No. All conversations are figments of my demented imagination.”
“Are these conversations true?”
“Uh what part of this aren’t you following? They are works of Satire. I make them up. No they are not true.”
“Could they be true?”
“I sure hope not.”
“Your stories don’t seem very long.”
“Each one is 250 words or less.”
“Why?”
“Because.”
“How many do you write?”
“I try write one each day, Monday to Friday. Except for holidays of course, but lately it's been only 1 or 2 a week...I'll try to do better.”
“Where do you get your ideas from?”
“The stories I write are fictitious conversations related to the news that has made the front page or is of national and sometimes international interest that day.”
“Your site looks pretty plain.”
“Yes and thanks for noticing. Did I mention I wanted to be a web desinger?"
“No.”
“I don't! I'd rather spend my time writing than creating webpages. I want the stories to be the eye candy. Not pictures or ads.”
