"So you have a blog?"|
"Yes. Yes I do."
"How do I get to it?"
"I will be posting a fresh story each day Monday-Friday. As it is posted on the blog an RSS file is created."
"What does RSS stand for?"
"Really Simple Syndication. These files are updated through programs called newsreaders. It allows the headlines to picked up as they are posted on the web. If you have a newsreader program running it will notify you that the story has been posted. I am hoping to get as many people as I can subscribing to my RSS file or feed as it is called. This will save readers from checking my site to see when it has been updated.
"Where can I get a newsreader program?"
"There are a lot of free ones on the net. Just do a Google search. "
"Can I just check the site everyday and not get a news reader?"
"Yes. It is up to you."
"Do I have to pay to subcribe to your feed?"
"What is your RSS feed?"
"Just copy and past the line above into your add feed of your newsreader."
