“Do you see that down there Heckle?”

“Yes I do Jeckle. Hmmm, fresh meat. Looks scrumptious. Let’s get down there.”

“Maybe we should continue circling overhead for awhile.”

“You don’t want to swoop down there and dig in?”

“Not just yet. It’s such a beautiful day. No sense gorging ourselves silly or prematurely.”

“But I’m sooo hungry. He’s just waiting to be picked apart. I say we start now.”

“You can’t be too careful. I think it’s best that we make sure first.”

“But look. He’s all alone. They left him all alone. High and dry.”

“Sink or swim. Survival of the fittest. They might be hiding behind those chairs waiting for the last gasp themselves. You know dog eat dog. It’s safer to circle above it all for awhile.”

“Maybe you’re right, he’s still squirming a little. Another few hours ought to do it.”

“Look Heckle, he’s trying to say something.”

“This may be his last gasp. Let’s get closer so we can hear what he’s saying.”

“After you Heckle.”

“No I insist, after you Jeckle.”

“…I would like to say to Mr. Arar, I am so very sorry. We made a terrible mistake.”

“You were right Jeckle. He does have some strength left in him!”

“Why don’t we fly over to the Liberal camp for awhile, there’s bound to be some easier pickings over there.”

“After you Jeckle.”

“No I insist, after you Heckle.”
